Will Todd’s ‘Mass in Blue’ was a tour de force from all concerned. The performance was dramatic, passionate and, at times, electrifying.The choir’s expressive singing, exciting and full of energy, was enhanced by great clarity of diction and an excellent use of dynamics – well done choir – and Cathal! Both the soprano soloist and Will at the piano were superb and the trio were very impressive. The audience absolutely loved it – a triumphant change from the usual repertoire.
